When I was a younger adult I always dreamed that I would have a condominium of my own. The design would be mainly contemporary modern, dimly lit.
At night, I would be working from my station. It is leveled up from the living area. Behind my work station is this floor to ceiling window and you could see the city view. On the working desk there will be a phone and a fax machine, which now is totally so irrelevant hahahahahahaha.... And of course I would have my files, stationery and a laptop. And at the corner of the desk, there will be a goldfish in a fishbowl accompanying me. That was my dream when I was doing my homework from the corner of the living area on a plastic table, next to a 2-panel window looking across the highway.
Now?
Now, I am working from my IKEA study desk, which is part of the living area. In front of me is the balcony, which is separated by a sliding door. My mobile phone and my iPad is next to me, while I am multi-tasking playing Tap Titans on one and Farm Heroes on the other. In my view is my lovely green garden. I supposed it it not that shabby from my dream.
Oh well... at least I am not homeless now =)
